When I created this pendant it reminded me of the country roads in the mountains where my mother lives, how they wind and twist. Of course when traveling there, my son always asks, "Are we there yet?" Hence, the title. Shiny coppery brown 3-4mm freshwater button pearls steal the show in this necklace as the hand wrought, hand hammered sterling pendant creates interest. Length of necklace is 16 1/8 inches. The sterling pendant measures 1 1/4 inches high by 9/16 inches wide. The total drop of the Y dangle (including the pendant) is 1 7/8 inches. Secures with a spring ring clasp. About the process: I cut out pieces of clear shrink plastic, draw the design; paint the charm and base; then varnish them both for durability.
